Do
I have to be present during the
inspection?
No, however
it is strongly recommended that you attend the inspection so the
inspector can walk you through the home to show you both the
strengths (the good stuff) and the weaknesses (the bad stuff, items
not working, need of repair, ready to fail, need replacing). This is
potentially your new home, you should know as much as possible about
it. The inspection is a great time to get information and advise.
The inspectors job is to educate you about the home and allow you to
make an informed purchase decision.

How long will the
inspection take?
Depending
on the size and number of rooms in the home, an average inspections
will take from 1.5 to 3 hours to complete.

Do I have to take notes
or pictures during the inspection?
No, not as
part of the inspection. All of our inspection reports come with a
complete 40 plus page report of all our findings and include all the
digital photos we take during the inspection. If you want to make
notes or takes photos during the inspection for your own use, feel
free.

When and how do I
get my Home Inspection Report?
In most
cases our reports are available on the internet within 24 hours of
the completion of the
inspection. Our inspector will
review the entire inspection and
answer any question you may have
before leaving the site. The
hardcopy of the reports,
including the CD and DVD are
usually shipped the next day via
ExpressPost. If you should
ever have a question about the
inspected property or our report
we offer unlimited lifetime
telephone and email support to
all our client.

What do I get in the Home
Inspection Report?
All of our
inspection reports are a complete 50 plus page customer computerized written report
detailing all of the inspectors finds on the property from the
exterior, the roof, interior rooms, plumbing, heating, cooling and
electrical systems. Our reports also include a CD copy of the report
and all photos taken on site a Home Maintenance DVD. It
all comes in a custom binder where can also store other important
documents about your new home.
