deficiencies in
material defects and workmanship. Most new home buyers don’t know or
understand what they can have the builder correct or have Tarion enforce
the builder to correct. We do!
Pre-Delivery Inspection
Unsure what to look for during
your Pre-Delivery Inspection? Want an expert who works only for
you. We are more that glad to assist new home buyers through
their pre-delivery inspection. Unable to attend your
Pre-Delivery Inspection, you have the right to assign a 3rd
party to attend in your place. In either case you will have a
qualified Home Inspector assist you with this step in your new
home purchase.
Our Pre-Delivery Inspection service confirms the builder has
performed and documented all defects or incomplete items. We
will review the builders Pre-Delivery Inspection report is
complete and accurate. We do not provide an additional report,
but keep record of the one the builder completes.
30 Day and Year End Inspection
The
builder (the people who have to
fix their mistakes and that cost
them money) is required to
perform your pre-delivery
inspection. After that the
homeowner is on his own. With
both your 30 Day and Year End
Inspections you have the right
to have the builder complete or
repair outstanding and or new
defective items. But if you
don’t file your own 30 Day or
Year End Inspection reports
Tarion can not help you. We have
the experience and expertise
help you thought the whole
process.
Our Home Inspectors will evaluate and report on both
exterior and interior components of the home.
Exterior Components:
Roof, Chimney, Flashings, Valleys, Siding, Trim,
Windows & Storms, Landscaping, Gutters, Downspouts,
Driveway, Patios, Decks, Porches, Air Conditioner
Compressor
Interior Components:
Heating System, Plumbing System, Electrical System,
Walls, Floors, Ceilings, Windows, Attic, Basement,
Structure
We also review all of the wall, ceilings. flooring
and trim work for visual defects that are covered
under your warranty.
Based on our
Standard Home Inspection our
Tarion/New Home Inspection
comes complete with a 50 plus page Home Inspection Report which
also includes a digital (CD) copy of the report, photos and
video (if used). The inspection report includes a Home
Maintenance DVD, especially useful for first time
home buyers. We also complete your 30 Day or Year End warranty
claim paperwork.

A
Tarion/New Home Inspection
will take between 2 to 4 hours. The client will be
encouraged to accompany the inspector throughout the
property except on the roof, or any other area that
is deemed unsafe for the client, the inspector, or
may damage the property. At the completion of
the inspection, the inspector will review all of his
or her findings in the review meeting with the
client.
The full inspection
report is
available for the client to
review (including all the
photos) on our website within 48
hours of completion of the
inspection. The hardcopy, CD and
DVD are delivered to the client
via courier.
